Six days of European arthouse cinema in Granada's historic squares. Open-air screenings at Plaza de la Universidad and Patio de los Cipreses, meetings with Cannes and Berlin award-winning directors, screenwriting and directing masterclasses, and an Andalusian short film competition with audience award. The festival closes with a gala at Teatro Isabel la Católica. Free programming except for the closing gala.
Plaza de la Universidad is one of central Granada's most emblematic spaces, surrounded by the baroque facade of the old university and historic buildings. During the festival, it transforms into an open-air cinema seating 500 with a 12-meter screen.
