"The Last Sigh of Granada" arrives at the Palacio de Congresos on June 14, 2026 as a stage show blending theater, historical narration, and live music to revisit one of the most decisive moments in the city's history: the fall of the Nasrid Kingdom and the handing over of the keys to the Catholic Monarchs. Inspired by historical chronicles and popular memory, the production proposes a journey through the last days of Muslim Granada and the human and cultural consequences of that change of era.
On stage, dramatized scenes, projections, voice-over, and musical passages combine to help recreate the atmosphere of late 15th-century Granada. The focus is not limited to a simple historical "recreation": the emphasis is placed on the people who lived through those events, the dilemmas, losses, and transformations that marked the identity of the city.
The show is especially aimed at those who feel curiosity about local history and want to see it "come to life" in an accessible format.
