Description

Rustic Festival returns to Lanjarón from April 24 to 26, 2026, as one of the most singular offerings in the Granada Alpujarra for those seeking to experience music in close contact with nature.

Rustic Festival returns to Lanjarón from April 24 to 26, 2026, as one of the most singular offerings in the Granada Alpujarra for those seeking to experience music in close contact with nature. For three days, Parque del Salao becomes a small open-air music village, with a stage enveloped by vegetation, spaces to rest, and a very curated environment where locals, families, and travelers arriving from Granada city and other parts of Andalusia coexist.

The soul of the festival lies in balancing simplicity and attention to detail: it is not a mega-event, but an intimate experience where the surroundings and proximity to the artists take first place. The lineup bets on emerging Andalusian projects (mainly from Granada and neighboring provinces), mixing alternative rock bands, indie proposals, singer-songwriters, and soft electronic sessions at sunset. This combination generates a varied yet coherent soundtrack for spending a "musical retreat" weekend in the mountains.

The three Rustic days have their own personality: Friday and Sunday have free entry, with more relaxed lineups ideal for going with kids, taking a stroll, discovering new music without rushing, and staying for a drink as the sun goes down. Saturday represents the core of the festival: a paid-entry day with more bands, greater technical deployment, and a more festive atmosphere that extends into the early morning with the most powerful live sets.

Beyond the music, Rustic Festival puts special effort into aesthetics and the lived experience: warm lights, rustic materials, handmade decoration, and small food and drink stalls that reinforce the feeling of a temporary "micro-community". The organization also attends to accessibility and logistics, offering alternatives such as a bus from Granada on the central day to make attendance easier without a private vehicle. In sum, Rustic Festival has established itself as an ideal date for those who avoid large venues and prefer festivals where the stage is seen up close, you can chat with the musicians, and the landscape shares the spotlight with the songs.
